About
At Carl's Carnivorous, I specialize in growing and selling Venus flytraps, bringing over 15 years of experience and passion to every plant. Based in the UK, I'm excited to share my knowledge and help you discover the beauty of these unique carnivorous plants!

Welcome to Carl's Carnivorous, your go-to plant nursery located in the UK where I specialize in Venus Flytraps. I offer a wide variety of Venus flytraps for sale on eBay, ensuring that everyone can enjoy these fascinating specimens. As I nurture my collection, they grow bigger and healthier, often resulting in more divisions than I need. By selling these extra plants, I aim to share different, sometimes wacky cultivars with fellow plant enthusiasts. I'm always happy to answer any questions and provide guidance on how to care for your new green companions!
The Vision
My vision is to collect all available Venus flytraps in one place and insuring there survival.
I believe that these fascinating plants have a lot to teach us about the natural world, and I am very excited to share that knowledge with you.

New arrival to the collection:
Dionaea muscipula ‘Bullseye’ is a unique cultivar. The traps are often upright, curved, and very thick. the leaves can grow up to 3cm long bearing traps of a similar size. The trap margins are wavy and irregular in shape. The marginal lashes are barely formed, stubby if not absent, meaning there are no two traps the same. The lobes are also lacking trigger hairs, this means this trap can not close. All the foliage of Dionaea 'Bullseye' is a yellowish green. Propagation of the cultivar will start straight away.

Plant Heritage National Collection:
Recently my collection of Dionaea muscipula cultivars has become a National Collection. National Plant Collection status is recognised world-wide by Botanic Gardens, the Horticulture industry and fellow plantspeople. Becoming a National Collection means a lot, recognition for all the work I have put in over the years. This will also open doors, with helpful contacts, more support looking after and growing the collection.
A big thank you to Plant Heritage for this honour as well as the support they have given us.
